2021 LOAM Pinot Noir

Handpicked fruit from vines recently grafted onto original Karriview Pinot rootstock. These vines are deep rooted and grow in fertile soil, interspaced with large and small dolerite rock. 100% whole bunches were fermented in new french oak producing a wine that is expressive with pronounced spicy aromas and pliant tannins. A pretty bouquet of dark cherries, provencal herb and pomegranate scent the nose. The palate is supple, round and velvet textured. Freshly turned earth and violets concentrate on the palate which is youthful and refreshing.
